Report for America is a national service program that places journalists into local newsrooms to report on under-covered issues and communities. An initiative of the nonprofit media organization, The GroundTruth Project, it is structured to harness the skills and idealism of an emerging group of journalists plus the creative spirit of local news organizations.

Military Veterans in Journalism’s mission is simple: get more military veterans working in America’s newsrooms. We have mentorship programs, opportunities for veterans to build a portfolio and network, internships in partner newsroom, events where veterans learn skills from professional journalists, a job listing site for MVJ members, a funding for stories about issues related to disabilities, press passes and more! MVJ leverages its extensive network to support Vet the News in featuring veteran and military spouse journalists.

Fundamentally, Ad fontes Media wants to help bring people together. Misleading, inaccurate, and highly polarizing media content has driven so many of us apart. Their mission is to rate all the news to positively transform society. Rating all the news is a big undertaking and requires scale, so we've set ourselves up to be a sustainable, growing business enterprise that is here for the long term.

Gigafact is funding and equipping local newsrooms to push back against misinformation, while increasing their relevance and impact with readers. With Gigafact's platform and training, newsrooms can produce short-form fact briefs that directly intercept current claims on social media. We are starting our efforts in the US and then plan to expand globally.
